Parents and Friends Association

The PFA are a small group of Mums (and sometimes Dads) who help raise money to buy equipment and resources for school.  In addition to resources we also help fund events such as theatre groups who come to school and widen the experiences of the pupils.

We have other helpers who provide invaluable help with our events such as the Christmas Fayre, Quizzes, Discos and Mothers and Fathers Day special events, Summer Fayres, Coffee Afternoons and Special Assemblies

Larks Hill is very grateful to the PFA for all their fundraising, which has enabled us to buy:

  • Ice cream for the Key Stage 2 theatre visit
  • Easter Eggs
  • Camcorders
  • A laptop for the new school library
  • Books for the new library
  • A sound system for the Hall
  • Outdoor play equipment
  • Benches

We are a small group but always welcome new members with ideas to help raise funds for the school.  Ideally we would like members representing each school year group.  We have a meeting every half term at the Carleton Pub; please see the calendar for future meeting dates.
